ARISE AND SHINE

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise and shine for thy Light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee…

Isaiah 52:1-2” Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion, put on thy beautiful garments. O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.  Shake thyself from the dust, arise and sit down, O Jerusalem; lose thyself from the bands of thy neck, o captive daughter of Zion.

To arise means to shake yourself off from the dungeon, dust, a defeated discouraged, hopeless or troubled state.  It means a paradigm shift that will make a remarkable change or difference in the life of a Child of God.

The Lord brought us out of the dungeon or hole, out of miry clay.  He molded us in His express image and set our feet upon Christ the solid Rock. It is therefore our responsibility to ensure that we remain rooted on Christ, the Solid Rock of our salvation.

Hab 3:19 “The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places..

“Arise” is also used to describe a change of position from stagnancy or spiritual redundancy to a highly exalted position in Christ Jesus.

We are joint-heirs with Christ.

When you arise, it means spiritual promotion has come and this will lead to physical manifestation.  The battle must be won first in the spiritual before it is visible in the natural.  By arising, your spiritual eyes of understanding have been enlightened by the Light of God.

The illumination comes from God’s word.  This illumination transcends and takes you from Glory to Glory and Grace to Grace. Therefore you must position yourself to receive the Light of God into your spirit-man, thereby diffusing it to the dark world.

As the Light shines, the perishing world receives this Light and they are saved.  The Light of God made manifest is a magnetic force, which draws souls into God’s marvelous Kingdom.  The Kingdom of God is Light and no darkness can comprehend it.

We as God’s Children illuminate the Light by diffusing His knowledge in every place.
